In 2023 I had the opportunity to install my series, Jesus Pieces, in the Marikle Chapel of the Annunciation at Notre Dame of Maryland University. This installation was part of the Art and Spirituality exhibition featuring: Alpha Massaquoi, Denise Kumani Gantt, dominic moulden, Jeneanne Collins, Jessie Houff, Kara McDonagh, Ken Krafchek, Laura Sligh, Nora Howell, Pamela Lawton, Paula Phillips, Rikiesha Metzger, Sara Kaltwasser, and myself. These artists, all community-engaged and invested in social change, were interested in the perceived “spiritual” elements of the arts. How the arts connect with something deeper, within themselves and in communion with others.
